Hello! I’m Elizabeth. I’m a Canadian-American ESL teacher with over eight years of experience.
I grew up in Canada and the U.S., and moved to Taiwan to teach English after completing university. I lived there for seven years, teaching English and learning Mandarin. I also studied French throughout my childhood and university years, so I understand very well how difficult and intimidating it can be to learn a new language. I also understand how important it can be to have a passionate and enthusiastic teacher to help with language learning.
I’ve taught in-classroom, private lessons, and online lessons to people of all ages, and I specialize in children and teenagers. My teaching methods involve plenty of conversation and reading practice, as well as appropriate pronunciation and inflection. I bring plenty of energy and focus to each and every lesson.
