I have over 14 years of international teaching experience in five different countries. I taught Medical English in South Korea; General and Business English in China; Mathematics, Science, and English at a British Council international school in Oman; Primary and Secondary English at a British international school in Georgia; and IELTS and Aviation English to adult students in Turkey. During the pandemic I started teaching online, and have been doing so for three years now. In the course of my career, I taught well over 3000 students and have accumulated over 19 000 lesson hours. Although every student is different, with regards to their age, language ability, learning style, and level of motivation, I apply proven pedagogical methods during each lesson in order to help the student advance. This includes getting to know a student’s needs and abilities first, before adapting the lesson content to suit them, while simultaneously keeping track of their progress. If a particular learning plan is not working, I quickly adjust it to enhance the student’s experience. This style of teaching has helped thousands of my students around the world — doctors, engineers, lawyers, pilots, and even psychologists. They all praise my patience, humor, and encouraging attitude.
