I have an extensive business background working for over twenty-five years at corporations such as Coca-Cola, American Express and Citicorp. I worked as a Regional MIS Manager, Multinational Proposal Manager and an IT recruiter. In addition, I was a small business proprietor-owning a community mental health center.
All of my previous employment experiences led me to my true passion-teaching the English language and helping adults master their oral and written communication skills.
To that end, I have over two years of experience evaluating TOEIC speakers. For the past year, I have also taught Business English (I love idioms), job interview skills and IELTS preparation to Russian, Korean and Chinese students. I really enjoy helping my students in those three areas.
My teaching style is very relaxed, and positive, and I strongly believe in giving my students immediate and frequent feedback during the lesson.
Finally, I strive to build rapport with my students and create a conducive, fun and comfortable learning environment to ensure an effective learning process occurs.
