My name is Vlad Tadic.
I am Canadian originally from Montreal, Quebec, but for most of my life I’ve lived abroad. I’ve been an ex-pat in a few different countries and I’ve traveled to many more. I’ve spent about 10 years in Japan, about 5 in Australia and 15 years in Serbia.
I have Degree in Travel and Tourism Management from Concordia University in Montreal, Canada and TESOL Certificate from Trinity College, London UK.
I’ve been working in education since 1990 when I moved from Canada to Japan.
For the first few years I’ve taught mostly Travel& Tourism subjects in English, but in the last 17 years (since 2001) I’ve taught only English Language.
During my career I had a chance to work with various students, ranging from kids 4-5 years of age to senior adults of 65-70 years old. However, the most challenging and probably the most interesting groups were University and College students and young adults.
Apart from the profession, Travel & Tourism has been my hobby and passion for a very long time. So, in the past, I have visited many interesting places in Europe, Asia, North America, and Australia. I have also met many amassing people from all over the world.
I’m also very interested in History, Reading and Cycling.
I believe that having lived and worked in multicultural environments gives me a lot of understanding of student’s needs, wishes, and desires. Moreover, from my teaching experience, I have learned that teaching English through interesting topics like Art, Music, Travel and etc. can be also very enjoyable for students.
