I have been teaching in Jakarta for 3-4 years, mostly in national type schools but also in «international’ schools and some business offices. Before I moved to Jakarta I also taught privately (one on one) in Bali.
Over the last year, while working from home, I have been using Google Classroom, YouTube and Zoom to hold lessons in either one to many and one to one classroom situations. I like to set quizzes for my students as I find that the «instant reward» of knowing your score is a strategy that stimulates students to succeed in their assignments.
